Cliona Pierse

Education: Solicitor, Chartered Director, B. Commerce (International), Dip Commercial Property, Dip Corporate Law and Governance, Certificate in Technology Law

 

Career:  Cliona worked in international banking in the IFSC before re-training as a solicitor. She trained in a medium size firm in Dublin and joined our firm in 2005 and became Partner in 2008. She has further developed her interest in business and has successfully completed the Institute of Directors chartered directors program. Cliona served as a non- executive director and Chairman of the board of Shannon Ferries Group Limited before retiring from that role in 2023 . She also served as a member of the audit and risk committee of Galway Mayo Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2022. .

 

Special areas of interest: Due to her commercial background Cliona has a special interest in commercial law, Landlord & Tenant, Commercial property and the taxation issues involved in property and probate transactions. 

 

She has also developed an interest  in more complex Irish probate cases and probate cases that involve foreign jurisdictions.
